Proposal to Angus Taylor, Minister for Energy and Emissions  On 1 October Janet and Kirsten met with the Minister for Energy and Emissions, Angus Taylor's, Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor. They explained some of the rationale behind the government's Technology Roadmap. In response to our suggestion of developing a forum process to bring people together across the divides that are currently causing tension in the community, they invited us to submit a proposal.

It has been the vision of the Congress from the outset for women to lead a process to bring people  together for an independently mediated process and we are very grateful for the generous assistance of experienced mediator, Rhian Williams,  who has worked in the public policy space for over 30 years, to develop our proposal, which we submitted to Mr Taylor's office on 20 November.
Read our Congress position paper describing this proposal.
See also our Resources page for a paper by Rhian Williams.
